Welcome to the Marketing Bundle

Five quick steps before our onboarding meeting. Don't worry — you won't write code. This is just setup.

~30 min of active work · 1-3 days waiting on approvals
Start with Step 1
What is the marketing bundle?

A library of 560 AI skills tailored to Domo marketing work

The bundle lives on your laptop and stays current with a 15-minute auto-sync. You'll discover skills that match your team — Communications, Digital, Creative, Product Marketing, Integrated, Field, Experiential, Analytics, CMO, EA — and use Claude Code to run them. We'll cover all of that in our onboarding meeting. This page just walks you through the five things to get done before then.

~5 min sign-up + a few minutes to provision

Get Claude Code access

Domo has a Claude Team plan. Sign up via the Domo App Studio page below — it's self-service. After you submit, no invite email is sent — just try logging into Claude.ai with your @domo.com email after a few minutes. You'll authenticate via OKTA.

Sign up for Claude Code
What is Claude Code? An AI assistant that runs inside VS Code. It's your pair-programmer for marketing work — drafting copy, building landing pages, querying data, generating images. You won't be writing code yourself.
~2 min request + instant approval

Request your Domo GitHub account

The bundle lives in a private Domo GitHub repo. You'll need a Domo Enterprise Managed User (EMU) account to access it. Request one through Domo ServiceNow — approval is right after submission. Once approved, GitHub appears as a tile in your OKTA dashboard — that's where you log in.

Open ServiceNow request
Don't skip this. Without a Domo GitHub account, you can't access the bundle repo. Steps 1 + 2 run in parallel — kick both off now so the approvals come in while you finish the rest.
Your GitHub username will end with _domo (e.g., cory.edwards_domo). You may also receive a GitHub email to confirm or set your username — if you do, follow it. Save the username — you'll use it later when the AI installer verifies repo access.

Download VS Code

Claude Code runs inside VS Code — Microsoft's free code editor. Don't worry, you won't need to write any code. This is just where Claude lives.

Download VS Code
You'll need admin access on your Mac. Click the check mark in your top bar, request administrator access, reason: "VS Code install." Domo IT usually grants it within minutes.
~5 minutes (after Step 1 is approved)

Install the Claude Code extension

Once VS Code is installed and your Claude Team email has arrived (Step 1), add the Claude Code extension and sign in.

  1. Open VS Code
  2. Click the Extensions icon in the left sidebar (or press Cmd + Shift + X)
  3. Search for "Claude Code"
  4. Click Install on the official Anthropic extension
  5. Click the Claude icon in the sidebar to open it
  6. Click Sign In and use your @domo.com email (the one John added to the Claude Team plan)
Smoke test: Click the Claude icon → type "hi" → confirm you get a friendly response. If you do, the extension is working and you're signed in correctly.
~10 minutes (after Step 2 is approved)

Connect GitHub + install the bundle

Once your Domo GitHub account is provisioned (Step 2), download the installer below, drag it into Claude Code, and type "follow this file." Claude does the rest — without you ever opening a terminal.

No terminal needed

Download the AI-driven installer

Claude Code installs Homebrew, GitHub CLI, the bundle, and scaffolds your workspace — for you. You'll see one macOS password dialog, one GitHub authorize tab, and one VS Code reload. That's it.

Download setup.md
  1. Open Claude Code in VS Code (the panel with the orange star icon)
  2. Drag setup.md from your Downloads folder into the chat
  3. Enable Admin Access from the checkmark in the top-right of your screen
  4. Type "Follow this file (marketing-bundle-setup.md) in downloads" and press Enter
Follow this file (marketing-bundle-setup.md) in downloads
  5. Approve when macOS asks for your laptop password (one time)
  6. Authorize GitHub when the browser tab opens (paste the code Claude gives you)
  7. Reload VS Code when Claude tells you to (Cmd + Shift + P → "Developer: Reload Window")
That's it. When Claude finishes setup, it'll hand you off to /mkt-bundle-onboard-me, which figures out your team and tailors a plan to you. Message Jake any time if you get stuck.

Congrats — you're ready for our onboarding meeting!

Once Steps 1 + 2 are approved and Steps 3-5 are done, message Jake to confirm you're set.
